photography field trip swan island beach and Kenton portland

We started our field trip at swan island a 5:00 am .

I am not that big of a morning person, and most of the time there is cloud cover, it not that pretty of light.

At 9:30 am we moved to Kenton which was a town long time ago but is part of Portland now.

The community was having a street fair in the old down town.

Paul Bunyan is left over from the 1959 Oregon Centennial Exposition.

Current Oak tree series pictures

It look like I'm starting a series of the big oak tree in front of my house.

It was not my intention to do this but I find myself in the right time of day the to get the pictures.

So I'm going to continue with this series of the tree.

As you can see a subject can have a lot of different looks. Let see what else I can capture of the oak tree.

I am also working on another series as well, it is farmers, done in the style of Richard Avedan photography, of his series of the West.

At this time do not have enough images for my series because of the weather ,my work and scheduling problems.

But should be back doing of my farmers series in two weeks.

I will post them at the end of summer.
